This may help...

Well I haven't even posted my sheet yet, but in the process of brainstorming via internet, I came up with a site that could possibly help out with writing in this era.

Here 'tis.

Not only does it include sayings, but there are also links to names and other such old west related things like horses, saddles, and guns.

This is super helpful! I'll definitely be referring to this when I write dialogue, as I've had a serious challenge trying to figure out how to write good 19th-century dialogue west of the Mississippi.

And get the character up pronto! If you hurry, you may even beat the lovely Mr. Ruggeri, who has been "checking his character sheet for grammar and historical accuracy" for about a week now. Razz
